Development takes center stage at Lakwijk Kunststoffen
Cedric is a student and the son of one of our valued colleagues. He is also part of our team because he regularly supports our company activities. For his teacher training programme he had the opportunity to follow a minor in Norway.
We were of course happy to help him with this.
Cedric about his minor in Norway:
"In early January 2024 I had the chance to follow one of the most beautiful minors offered by the programme: Norway. Milan and I were sent out to explore outdoor learning and friluftsliv (the free Norwegian way of life). In this minor we learn different aspects of teaching and surviving indoors and outdoors.
We learn how to deal with harsh weather conditions when camping and what to do when someone needs first aid.
Besides the school components, Norway also gives me the opportunity to work on myself — living away from home for the first time, cooking for myself, doing laundry, and so on.
Lakwijk made sure I stayed warm when I was far below freezing in my self-built igloo… They provided me with the highest quality clothing for the beautiful north. I sincerely want to thank them for that!
