Lakwijk expands with a new building
Various forms of communication can be created in plastics — from flat sheet material for signage to routed letters, logos and art pieces.
Lakwijk Kunststoffen BV has expanded by incorporating the building next door. Our neighbour Stagelight relocated, making their building available to integrate with ours.
A corridor has been built and we are gradually preparing the new space for optimal use. Production and delivery reliability must of course remain unaffected during the internal transition.
Due to steady growth, it was expected that our existing facility would eventually become too small. Despite a major expansion in 2008, capacity would have become a challenge in the near future. The opportunity to acquire the neighbouring building was therefore not one to miss.
This expansion enables Lakwijk to continue growing and stay ahead in market and technology developments.
For now, the additional space is mainly used for warehouse expansion and optimisation of the machine park. Picking up orders, loading, unloading or simply enjoying a coffee still feels exactly the same. We will keep you informed.
