Vandalism-resistant plastic protective cover
For a project with ProRail, we collaborated with our customer to develop a vandalism-resistant plastic protective cover. This prevents damage to information displays caused by vandalism.
Properties
Polycarbonate has excellent flame-retardant properties. It is the only crystal-clear plastic that retains its properties at temperatures as low as -30°C. It is also 250 times stronger than glass of the same thickness. This unique combination of clarity, rigidity and impact resistance makes polycarbonate sheet extremely suitable as safety glazing. Other applications include machine guards and protective screens.
