Applications
The materials mentioned — PVC, HDPE, PP and PVDF — are primarily used in equipment construction.
Typical applications include chemical tanks for the electroplating industry, the petrochemical industry or, for example, the pharmaceutical industry. Another application is the manufacture of liquid tanks, such as water tanks, fuel tanks, waste tanks or containment trays for acids or alkalis (such as battery trays). These materials are also used for less demanding applications, for example strips or sheets in any required size for outdoor use where functionality is more important than appearance. Examples include various spacer or connection blocks, thermal break blocks and similar components.
