Lakwijk is expanding with a new building

Lakwijk Kunststoffen BV has expanded by adding the building next to the existing building. Neighbor Stagelight has moved and their building at number eight has been moved to Lakwijk's building at number six.

A corridor has been built and optimal use of the extra space is currently being achieved step by step. Production and delivery reliability should not suffer from the internal changes, of course.

Due to the steady growth of the company, it was foreseeable that at some point in the coming years the existing building would become too cramped. Despite the major renovation and expansion in 2008, this could become a challenge in the relatively short term. The opportunity to add the neighbors' property was therefore an opportunity not to be missed.

With this step, Lakwijk can continue its development in the coming years and we have the opportunity to stay at the forefront of developments in the market and technology.

For the time being, the consequences of putting the new building into use will only be to expand warehouse space and optimize the machine park. Visiting our building to pick up, load, unload or drink coffee is and still "feels" familiar. We will keep you informed.
