Food grade
Lakwijk Kunststoffen is an important supplier to the food industry. Strict European requirements and rules apply to products that (may) come into contact with food.
These requirements are summarized within the Food Grade standard; the most important European standard in the field of food safety and material traceability. The standards set requirements for intrinsic properties of materials with regard to migration; By this we mean that there is no transfer of plastic to food. But also traceability, processing processes and documentation, for example.
Food Grade is important for Lakwijk Kunststoffen. We therefore periodically review the process to optimally meet the changing requirements surrounding Food Grade.
