Polypropylene (PP)
PP is a plastic material with high impact resistance and a wide temperature range. In addition, it is lightweight and offers high chemical resistance. Combined with its excellent mechanical properties, PP is one of the most versatile plastics available.
PP has extremely low moisture absorption and excellent resistance to hydrolysis. This combination makes the material highly suitable for a wide range of applications. PP is resistant to many chemicals, including acids, alcohols, hot water and most cleaning agents. The material can be easily welded, bent, turned, milled and drilled.
This makes PP particularly suitable for technical and structural applications. It is widely used in the chemical industry, as well as for advertising applications and packaging in various sizes. This excellently weldable plastic is used for storage tanks, tank and drainage channel linings, laboratory worktops, galvanizing drums, couplings and die-cut backing plates.
