POM shortage

We have excellent sourcing channels and a strategic stock, but there may come a time when we are unable to deliver a requested size or version of POM within the desired timeframe. Fortunately, there are alternative solutions for nearly all applications in which POM would normally be a suitable material.

Depending on the requirements of the specific application, nylon (polyamide, PA), HMPE 1000 and especially PET-P may be excellent alternatives. PET-P from our supplier Mitsubishi is marketed under the name Ertalyte.
