PVDF
PVDF stands for polyvinylidene fluoride. The material has higher tensile strength, compressive strength and dimensional stability than the related PTFE. Its friction and insulation properties are, however, lower. PVDF has high mechanical strength and toughness at low temperatures and is self-extinguishing. The service temperature range is from -30°C to +150°C. PVDF shows high resistance to chlorine, bromine and high-energy radiation.
